Each tutoring session is built around the student’s current needs. Some students need help understanding homework and class assignments, while others need targeted review of missing skills. Sessions may include reteaching concepts, guided practice, problem-solving strategies, study support, and recommendations for what to practice between sessions. The emphasis is always on helping students understand the “why” behind the math, not just memorize steps.
Most sessions are one hour but can be customized to each student's needs.

Hourly tutoring rates generally range from $35–$60 per hour, depending on the level of math and the support needed. I also offer occasional summer discounts, sibling discounts, and seasonal specials.
